Activities and Events

These are annual events that are organized. They are Fun Games, Exhibition and sale of products from the workshops, and open days for parents & friends and cultural night. A social evening will be added to the programs as from this year. There is also a Christmas program by the children and adults every year for parents and visitors to enjoy.

Annual Exhibition and Open Day:
Both events are held yearly to expose the works of the students at the workshop to parents and the general public. Patrongage is usually good.

Cultural Performances:
The students Drumming and Dancing Group performs impressively both during school events and at outside locations. See picture gallery below for an impression of their performance during Open Day in November 2004.

Special Olympics:
At the last Special Olympics in Ireland we participated in athletics and shot-put and won both a silver and bronze medal!

Seminars and Radio Programmes:
The school regularly organises seminars / radio-programmes designed to educate the public on intellectual disability and promoting the Fundamental Human Rights of Children with Intellectual Disability.
